About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About Legal profession of the Kyrgyz Republic and lawyer activities"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About Legal profession of the Kyrgyz Republic and lawyer activities" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2014, No. 7, the Art. 672) the following changes;
1) in Article 16:
a) state part 2 in the following edition:
"2. The lawyer can perform lawyer activities individually in the form of lawyer office or through the lawyer organization in the form of Bar or lawyer bureau.";
b) add Article with parts 2-1 and 2-2 of the following content:
"2-1. The lawyer has the right to choose and change independently according to this Law form of implementation of lawyer activities. The lawyer within one month from the date of registration shall notify the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and Legal profession on the chosen form of implementation of lawyer activities according to the procedure, established by this Law.
2-2. Use in names of legal entities of the terms "lawyer activities", "legal profession", "lawyer" or phrases including these terms is allowed only by lawyers and created according to the procedure, established by this Law, the organizations.";
Chapter 2 to add 2) with Articles 16-1 - 16-3 following of content:
"Article 16-1. Lawyer office
1. The lawyer who made the decision to perform lawyer activities individually establishes lawyer office.
2. About organization of lawyer office the lawyer sends to the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and Legal profession the written notice in which the information about the lawyer, the location of lawyer office, phone numbers, faxes, the e-mail address is specified.
3. The lawyer office is not legal entity.
