About the minimum size of the salary and additional measures for social protection of the population

For the purpose of strengthening of social protection of the population in connection with liberalization of the prices the President of the Republic of Moldova decides:

Art. 1. - Establish since June 1, 1994 minimum wage in the amount of 18 lei a month.

Art. 2. - Make since June 1, 1994, proceeding from the new minimum size of the salary:

establishment of the specific sizes of the tariff charges and official pay rates of employees of the companies, organizations and organizations;

increase in grants to post-doctoral candidates, doctoral candidates, students of higher educational institutions and pupils of colleges and technical training colleges;

increase in the sizes of the benefits and payments established depending on the minimum size of the salary;

recalculation of all types of the pensions established according to the Laws of the Republic of Moldova "About the state provision of pensions in the Republic of Moldova" and "About social protection of the citizens who were injured owing to Chernobolsky catastrophic crash".

Art. 3. - Determine that for ensuring additional support of needy and low-paid segments of the population since June 1, 1994:

the tariff charges and official pay rates of employees of budgetary institutions estimated according to categories of compensation of the Single scale of charges according to coefficients raise:

2,25 - for the workers rated according to the 1st category of compensation;

2,05 - for the workers rated according to the 2nd category of compensation;

1,85 - for the workers rated according to the 3rd category of compensation;

1,75 - for the workers rated according to the 4th category of compensation;

1,60 - for the workers rated according to the 5th category of compensation;

1,45 - for the workers rated according to the 6th category of compensation;

1,35 - for the workers rated according to the 7th category of compensation;
