About some questions of registration of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan

For the purpose of further enhancement of system of registration of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Enact books of registration of citizens since September 1, 2005.

2. Determine that books of accounting of residents are applied till December 31, 2008.

3. To the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan till December 31, 2008 to make replacement of books of accounting of residents by books of registration of citizens.

Replacement of the book of accounting of residents by the book of registration of citizens is made in case of the appeal of the citizen to territorial authority of justice at the permanent address (registration) of the citizen.

4. Approve the enclosed changes and additions which are made to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. This resolution becomes effective since September 1, 2005 and is subject to obligatory official publication.
