About modification and amendments in the Law of Turkmenistan "About migration"

I. Bring in the Law of Turkmenistan "About migration", adopted on March 31, 2012 (Sheets of Majlis of Turkmenistan, 2012,№ 1, Art. 41; 2013, No. 2, Art. 29, No. 4, Art. 83; 2014, No. 2, Art. 90; 2015, No. 1, Art. 38; 2016, No. 1, Art. 52), following changes and amendments:

1. Add Article 1 with Items of the following content:

"18) registration of foreign citizens, stateless persons in the place to the residence/place of stay – registration by authorized bodies of foreign citizens, stateless persons in the place to the residence/place of stay, and also data on the movement from one place to other place according to the procedure determined by the legislation of Turkmenistan;

19) the state information system of registration of foreign citizens, stateless persons in the place to the residence/place of stay – set of the information resources created in the Public migratory service of Turkmenistan for regulation of migratory processes of foreign citizens, stateless persons in the separate directions.".

2. 11 parts three of article 10 after the words "according to the petition of the foreign citizen, stateless person" to add Item paragraph two with the words "or the interested legal entity and physical person".

3. State Article 12 in the following edition:

Article 12. Registration and removal from accounting of foreign citizens, stateless persons in the Public migratory service of Turkmenistan

1. The foreign citizens, stateless persons which arrived to Turkmenistan shall within three working days (except for day of entrance on the territory of the country) to be registered in relevant organs of the Public migratory service of Turkmenistan. The minor children who arrived to Turkmenistan with parents, adoptive parents, guardians (custodians) or one of them are registered along with them.

2. The basis for registration of foreign citizens, stateless persons is one of stated below:

1) arrival of the foreign citizen, stateless person in Turkmenistan;
