Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 18, 2004 "About the state awards of the Republic of Belarus" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2004, No. 88, 2/1037) the following amendments:
1. In Article 4 part one:
after the paragraph of third to add part with the paragraph of the following content:
"award "for strengthening of the world and friendship";";
the fourth - the sixty fourth to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the fifth - the sixty fifth.
2. Add the Law with Article 6-1 of the following content:
"Article 6-1. Award "For Strengthening of the World and Friendship"
The award "For Strengthening of the World and Friendship" is the highest expression of recognition of merits of foreign citizens and stateless persons.
"For Strengthening of the World and Friendship" are awarded the order the foreign leaders, persons holding the highest positions in state bodies of foreign countries and also eminent political and public figures:
for exclusive merits in strengthening of the bilateral relations with the Republic of Belarus, rendering every possible assistance in its social and economic development and prosperity;
for big personal deposit in establishment of friendship and economic cooperation between the states, integration of the Republic of Belarus into the international structures;
in acknowledgement of vigorous peacekeeping activity, harmonization of the international relations, sponsor's activities and carrying out significant humanitarian affairs for the benefit of mankind, unification and consent in the world community.
The medal "For Strengthening of the World and Friendship" is worn on medal chain.".
Article 2. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus in three-months time:
