About modification and amendments in the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Item 7 of Article 107 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of July 1, 1998 (further – the Code) "Article 215" shall be replaced with words words "part 7 of Article 215.1".
Article 2. In article 190 of the Code:
Part 1 after numbers "235-249" to add 1) with words "(except for Article 235. 1)", and after numbers "251-298" – words "(except for Article 267. 1)",
Part 2 to state 2) in the following edition:
"2. Preliminary inquiry for the crimes provided by Articles 188, of 189, of 193, of 194, of 202, of 203, 205 Criminal codes of the Republic of Armenia (except for the crime relating to customs relations), for the crimes provided by Articles 207-211, is conducted by investigators of the Investigative Committee or tax authorities. Preliminary inquiry for the crimes provided by articles 205 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia, relating to customs relations is conducted by investigators of Service of homeland security or tax authorities.",
Words of part 4 of "stipulated in Article 215th crime" shall be replaced with words 3) "provided by Articles 215. 1, 215.2, 235.1 and 267.1 of crimes".
Article 3. "Article 215" shall be replaced with words words of Item 16 of part 1 of article 360 of the Code "part 7 of Article 215.1".
Article 4. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
