About entering of amendment and changes into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About weapon"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on September 17, 2009

Article 1. Part 1 of article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About weapon" of July 3, 1998 to add ZR-246 (further – the Law) with the Item "m" of the following content.

"l) rewarding with weapon – the encouragement type in accordance with the established procedure issued by persons established by this Law within the powers assigned to them by the law.".

Article 2. Shall be replaced with words the words of "internal affairs" used in the Law, "republican executive body of internal affairs", "republican law-enforcement body", "relevant organ of internal affairs", "territorial authority of internal affairs", "law-enforcement body" and case forms corresponding to them "the Police of the Republic of Armenia" and the case forms corresponding to them.

Article 3. To state article 20 of the Law in the following edition:

"Article 20. Rewarding with weapon, sale, donation and inheritance of weapon

1. The Republic of Armenia has the right of rewarding with weapon:

a) President of the Republic of Armenia;

b) Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia;

c) The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia – to the military personnel who rendered outstanding services in defense and military construction of the Republic of Armenia;

d) The chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia – to police officers for long approximate and faultless service, and also for excellent accomplishment of service duties and (or) special tasks;

e) The director of service of homeland security under the Government of the Republic of Armenia – to the staff of service of homeland security for long approximate and faultless service, and also for the considerable and exclusive services rendered to the Republic of Armenia.
