About entering of amendments into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About education"

Article 1. Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About education" of April 14, 1999, ZR-297 (further - the Law) to add with subitems 17.1 and 17.2 of the following content:

"17. 1) qualification – the status certifying compliance of person to the characteristic of professional qualification as a result of final assessment which is appropriated by the relevant document;

17. 2) national frame of qualifications – set of characteristics of qualifications of professional education which includes the general description of results of training at each step of training and knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for professional activity;".

Article 2. To add article 36 of the Law with subitem 2.1 of the following content:

"2. 1) establishes national frame of qualifications and approves general characteristics of qualification extents of education;".

Article 3. To add article 37 of the Law with subitem 6.1 of the following content:

"6. 1) approves qualification characteristics on specialties and extents of education;".

Article 4. This law becomes effective for the thirtieth day from the date of official publication.
