Article 1. Part 7 of article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About education" of April 14, 1999 to state ZR-297, in the following edition:
"7. In the Republic of Armenia the twelve-year average or primary (craft) professional or secondary vocational education is obligatory before execution of 19 years for the pupil if this right is not exercised earlier.
Secondary education in the state educational institutions is free.
The requirement of obligatory average or primary (craft) professional or secondary vocational education does not extend to certain groups of the children having need in the special conditions of training established by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.".
Article 2. This law becomes effective from the tenth day, after official publication.
The paragraph one of article 1 of this law becomes effective since January 1, 2017.
