About entering of amendments into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About local self-government"

Article 1. "About local self-government" of May 7, 2002 ZR-337 (further - the Law) to add article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia with Item 10 of the following content:

"10) participation of inhabitants of municipality in local self-government.".

Article 2. Add the law with Article 10.1 of the following content:

"Article 10.1. Participation of inhabitants of municipality in local self-government

In sense of this Law participation of inhabitants of municipality in local self-government is established as the procedure performed in municipality by means of which inhabitants inquire about activities of local government bodies and have direct or indirect impact on decisions of local government bodies. In local self-government in municipality has the right to participate each inhabitant of the relevant municipality who reached sixteen years.

Participation of inhabitants of municipality in local self-government can take place within powers of the local government bodies established by the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and this Law in areas of their activities. Relations of inhabitants of municipality, their groups, local government bodies, forms, procedures of participation are established by this Law, other Laws of the Republic of Armenia, and also the decision on approval of procedure for participation of inhabitants of municipality in local self-government made by local government board.".

Article 3. To add article 12 of the Law with the paragraph two following of content:
