About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About local self-government"

Article 1. "About local self-government" of May 7, 2002 to state article 44 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia to ZR-337 (further - the Law) in the following edition:

"Article 44. Activities of the head of municipality in the field of agricultural industry

1. In the field of agricultural industry the head of municipality performs the following obligatory powers:

1) makes operation of the irrigational networks which are considered as municipal property, their construction and repair;

2) according to city rules is issued by permission to content of pets in the territory of the city of Yerevan and city municipalities and makes their annual accounting.

2. In this area the head of municipality performs the following voluntary powers:

1) promotes implementation of agricultural works;

2) promotes breeding and seed-growing works;

3) will organize works on observance of agrarian rules.".

Article 2. Add the law with Article 44.1 of the following content:

"Article 44.1. Activities of the head of municipality in the fields of veterinary science and phytosanitation

1. The head of municipality, as obligatory power in the field of veterinary science, provides to authorized body information on the executed antiepizootic actions, the revealed infectious and noncontagious diseases.

2. In the fields of veterinary science and phytosanitation the head of municipality performs the following delegated by the state of power:

1) promotes works on implementation of the state program of annual antiepizootic actions;

2) proceeding from antiepizootic situation, on risk of transmissibility, differentiates pastures and watering places, having in case of need limited or having prohibited their use;
