Article 1. Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About safety of persons which are subject to special state protection" of December 3, 2003 No. ZR-40 (further - the Law) items 4 and 5 following contents:
"4. In case of making by persons who are subject to special state protection (except for persons provided by part 2 of this Article), administrative violation or crime (illegal action), the head of the group performing the state protection shall:
1) without delay to inform subject to special state protection person that the state protection can be suspended during making by this person of illegal action;
2) without delay to report on the head of authority on feasibility of further implementation of protection.
According to procedure, stipulated in Item 1 part 4 of this Article, in case of continuation, after the notification, person which is subject to special state protection, illegal action according to the decision of the head of the group performing the state protection during making of this action the state protection can stop. In the same order, in case of repeated making, after the notification, administrative violation or crime, according to the decision of the head of authority special state protection stops.
5. Persons which are subject to special state protection except for of persons provided by part 2 of this Article can temporarily refuse the state protection, having in writing notified on it the head of authority.".
Article 2. To state Item 3 of Article 6 in the following edition:
"3. Personal lifelong state protection, the cases except for provided by the Law is provided to the President of the Republic of Armenia who stopped execution of the powers. The President of the Republic of Armenia who stopped execution of the powers can temporarily or forever refuse the state protection, having in writing notified on it the head of authority.".
