About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About civil service"

Article 1. In article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About civil service" (of December 4, 2001, ZR-272, further – the Law):

Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The public service is implementation of the powers conferred to the state by the legislation which includes implementation of policy by bodies of the state and local self-government, public service and communal service, and also civil work in bodies of the state and local self-government.";

The second parts 3 words of "emergency situations" shall be replaced with words 2) in the paragraph "rescue service";

Part 4 to state 3) in the following edition:

"4. The communal service is the professional activity directed to implementation of tasks and functions, the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Armenia carried to local government bodies.".

Article 2. In article 2 of the Law the word is "regulated" to be replaced with the word established", and the word of "principles" shall be replaced with words "the principles and are regulated".

Article 3. In article 3 of the Law:

Part 1 to add 1) with the Item "r" of the following content:

"p) professional working life: graduated, and in case of this position of higher education provided by the passport – the working life corresponding to the qualification specified in the document confirming this education irrespective of the work performed in the state or private spheres. The professional working life includes period of time after receipt of the corresponding qualification.";

2) part 3 after words "heads of state bodies under the Government and their deputies," to add with words of "heads of the state bodies operating in the field of management of the ministries of the Republic of Armenia and their deputies".
