About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About medical care and servicing of the population"

Article 1. In article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About medical care and servicing of the population" of March 4, 1996, ZR-42 (further - the Law):

Paragraph two to add 1) with the word "pathoanatomical";

To add 2) with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Pathoanatomical examination is performed with participation of the specialist having the corresponding qualification and other medical specialists for the purpose of comparison of results of pathological researches and clinical data, and final diagnostics, according to the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.".

Article 2. To state article 24 of the Law in the following edition:

"Article 24. Pathoanatomical activities

1. Pathoanatomical activities are type of medical care and servicing which is performed by means of pathoanatomical researches, pathoanatomical openings and pathoanatomical examination.

2. Pathoanatomical researches for the purpose of diagnosis of diseases in the medical institutions having the corresponding license are performed by the specialists doctors having qualification. The list of pathoanatomical researches and procedure for carrying out establishes the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

3. Pathoanatomical openings for the purpose of determination of cause of death of the died person and refining of the diagnosis of his disease, in the medical institutions having the corresponding license are performed by the specialists doctors having qualification. Pathoanatomical opening can be performed if the case of death is not subject of the forensic medical examination established by the legislation. The procedure of pathoanatomical openings approves the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
