Article 1. "About Consular service" of May 29, 1996 to state article 24 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia to ZR-61 in the following edition:
"Article 24.
1. Consular accounting is procedure of the voluntary message citizens of the Republic of Armenia, the leaving or being out of the Republic of Armenia, personal data to the state authorized body.
2. Consular accounting is performed for the purpose of ensuring protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, rendering assistance in emergency situations, simplification of execution by citizens of the obligations, and also formation on accounting in the state register of the population to the address of only one place of permanent residence.
3. For formation on consular accounting citizens of the Republic of Armenia can provide the individual data personally, by mail or by means of the automated system of consular accounting.
4. The procedure for formation on consular accounting establishes the Government of the Republic of Armenia.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day following behind day of official publication.
