About approval of the Regulations on work on afforestation of the degraded lands which are public property of administrative and territorial units, and the degraded lands which are in private property

For the purpose of realization of the mechanism on implementation of the Law on forest improvement of the degraded lands No. 1041-XIV of June 15, 2000 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 141-143, 1015), with subsequent changes, including from the point of view of regulation of process of expansion of the areas covered with forest vegetation at the expense of the degraded lands, the Government DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on work on afforestation of the degraded lands which are public property of administrative and territorial units, and the degraded lands which are in private property it (is applied).

2. To provide to the ministry of the environment:

1) cooperation with the international organizations and the donor countries for the purpose of receipt of technical and financial aid for performance of works on afforestation of the degraded lands which are public property of administrative and territorial units, and the degraded lands which are in private property;

2) control over the implementation of the Provision specified in Item 1, and annual representation of the relevant information to the Government.

3. Provide to the Moldsilva agency:

1) technical coordinating of activities for afforestation of the degraded lands which are public property of administrative and territorial units, and the degraded lands which are in private property;

2) development of technical and economic documentation for works on afforestation of the degraded lands which are public property of administrative and territorial units, and the degraded lands which are in private property.
