About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About conscription"

Article 1. Item 6 of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About conscription" of September 16, 1998, ZR-250 (further - the Law) to state in the following edition:

"6. Diplomatic and consular bodies of the Republic of Armenia shall:

a) on the basis of the notification received from military commissariat of the Republic of Armenia, according to the procedure, established by the government of the Republic of Armenia to notify the recruit staying on the consular registry in their consular region for arrival in diplomatic body or consular establishment and to hand over to the arrived persons under the signature the agenda about appeal on obligatory military service;

b) in two weeks, according to the procedure, established by the government of the Republic of Armenia to provide to military commissariat of the Republic of Armenia the information about the person liable for call-up staying on the consular registry in their consular region;

c) within the competences to promote return of youths of premilitary age and recruits to the Republic of Armenia.".

Article 2. To state paragraph two of Item 2 of article 5 of the Law in the following edition:

"Military accounting of the person liable for call-up who does not have accounting at the place of residence in the Republic of Armenia and staying on the consular registry carries out military commissariat of the Republic of Armenia.".

Article 3. In article 6 of the Law:

1) in Items 1 and 4 after the word "commissariat" to withdraw words" (diplomatic, consular bodies)";
