About modification and amendments in the Penitentiary code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Article 24 of the Penitentiary code of the Republic of Armenia of December 24, 2004 (further – the Code):

1) words of part 1 "this territorial authority of criminal and executive service at the place of residence, division on execution of the punishments which are not connected with imprisonment" shall be replaced with words "territorial authority of service of probation on the permanent residence (further in this Chapter – territorial authority), and in case of the convict who does not have the permanent residence or the foreign citizen or not having nationality, territorial authority at its actual place of residence or the place specified in court resolution"

Part 2 to state 2) in the following edition:

"2. After receipt of the court resolution which took legal effect about infliction of penalty (further in this Chapter – court resolution), serving probations without delay, but no later than within one working day, finds out the location of the convict, comes to it into contact, properly notifies him on need of emergence for territorial authority, constitutes the personal record, the plan of control, fills in the registration card. The plan of control is constituted based on court resolution in case of delay of payment of penalty or payment in parts. The beginning of control is calculated from the moment of capture on accounting of the convict.",

To add 3) with parts 3-8 of the following content:

"3. The convict shall after the introduction in legal force of court resolution without delay and completely pay the amount of the ordered to pay fine, within ten working days having shown the receipt on payment in territorial authority.
