About prevention of effects of human trafficking

For the purpose of creation of legal and organizational basis of ensuring proper protection of persons which were affected by the criminal activities connected with human trafficking:

1. Determine that the victims of human trafficking are understood as physical persons concerning which the acts attracting responsibility under article 181 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Belarus or other acts directed to their use for the purpose of sexual or other exploitation, responsibility for which is provided by Articles 171, 171-1, 182, 187 Criminal codes of the Republic of Belarus, and in connection with their making in the territory of the Republic of Belarus were made or beyond its limits it was performed criminal prosecution (is performed).

2. The measures of protection providing are applied to the victims of human trafficking:

ensuring their safety;

their social protection and rehabilitation;

rendering help to them by diplomatic representations and consular establishments of the Republic of Belarus.

3. Safety of the victims of human trafficking, including members of their families, close relatives and other persons whom they reasonably consider relatives and also their property is performed according to the procedure, provided by the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Belarus for safety of participants of criminal procedure, other persons and their property.

4. Social protection and recovery of victims of human trafficking are performed gratuitously and include:
