About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About power"

Article 1. In article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia ZR-148 of March 7, 2001 "About power" (further – the Law):

 The words "in electric utility system" shall be replaced with words 1) in determination of concept of "the rule of the market" "in the field of power", and the word "systems" – the word "spheres";

To add 2) with new paragraphs of the following content:

"the emergency or resulted from force majeure situation – the situation which arose in electric utility system when by means of the ordered stand-by capacities it is impossible to perform economic regulation

transit transportation – transit transfer of electrical energy (capacity) on customs area of the Republic of Armenia on customs area of the Republic of Armenia, from customs authority of entrance to customs authority of departure,

equilibration – economic regulation of deficit or excess of electrical energy (capacity) during import, export or transit transfer of electrical energy (capacity).".

Article 2. In article 17 of the Law:

The Item "to" state 1) in the following edition:

"j) for the purpose of accomplishment, control of conditions of the license, research of reliability of the reports and data provided to the commission performs monitoring of activities of licensed persons in the procedure accepted by the Commission,",

To add 2) with the Items "r" and "c" of the following content:

"p) establishes procedure for transit transfer on the territory of the Republic of Armenia and equilibration of electrical energy (capacity) in electric utility system,

c) establishes import procedure and export of electrical energy (capacity) during the emergency or resulted force majeure of situation in electric utility system.".
