About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About alternative energy sources" concerning reference of thermal pumps to the equipment which uses renewable energy resources

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About alternative energy sources" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2003, No. 24, Art. 155; 2009, No. 13, Art. 155) following changes:

1. In Article 1:

after paragraph one to add with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Aero thermal energy - the energy which is saved up in the form of heat energy in the air circle".

With respect thereto paragraphs two - to consider the sixth respectively paragraphs third – the seventh;

third after the word "geothermal" to add the paragraph with the words "hydrothermal, aero thermal";

after the paragraph of the fourth to add with two new paragraphs of the following content:

"Geothermal power - the energy which is saved up in the form of heat energy under tough layer of the land surface;

hydrothermal energy - the energy which is saved up in the form of heat energy in surface water".

With respect thereto the fifth - the seventh to consider paragraphs respectively paragraphs the seventh - the ninth.

2. Add Article 10 with part two of the following content:

"The aero thermal, hydrothermal or geothermal heat energy received by means of thermal pumps should be considered got from renewable energy resources provided that the final energy output considerably exceeds primary energy consumption, necessary for actuating of thermal pumps. Calculation of share of the energy made by thermal pumps for the purpose of report generation for Energy Community about the made progress in assistance and energy use from renewable sources, is performed according to the technique developed by the central executive body which provides forming and realizes state policy in the field of energy saving, renewable energy resources and alternative types of fuel".

II. The law becomes effective from the date of its publication.
