About the Red List of Turkmenistan

1. Determine that:

The Red List of Turkmenistan is kept by the Ministry of environmental management and environmental protection of Turkmenistan and Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan on the basis of systematically updated data on distribution and animal species which are under the threat of disappearance and plants of Turkmenistan;

The Red List of Turkmenistan shall contain set of data on condition and measures for protection of the rare and being under the threat of disappearance types (subspecies, populations) of wild animals and wild-growing plants * Turkmenistan, necessary for development and implementation of actions on their preserving and rational use.

2. Provide to the Ministry of environmental management and environmental protection of Turkmenistan the right in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, the State committee of fishery of Turkmenistan and Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in accordance with the established procedure to make decisions on entering in the Red List of Turkmenistan and exception of it of these or those animal species and plants, and also to determine procedure and measures for their protection.

3. Determine that financing of the works connected with maintaining and the edition of the Red List of Turkmenistan is performed at the expense of means of the Government budget of Turkmenistan.

To the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan to provide allocation to the Ministry of environmental management and environmental protection of Turkmenistan of its request of the assignments necessary for financing of works on maintaining and the edition of the Red List of Turkmenistan.

The profit got from implementation of the Red List of Turkmenistan goes to the government budget of Turkmenistan.
