About introduction of amendments to the Law on the state dactyloscopic registration No. 1549-XV of December 19, 2002

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

In the Law on the state dactyloscopic registration No. 1549-XV of December 19, 2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 14-17, 51), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In all text of the law of the word "dactyloscopic information" shall be replaced with words "dactyloscopic data" in the corresponding case.

2. In Article 2:

replace the concept "dactyloscopic information" with the concept "dactyloscopic data" of the following content:

"dactyloscopic data – images of fingerprints, images of invisible fingerprints, images of prints of palms, images of invisible prints of palms, and also the coded private signs of such images which are stored and processed in the electronic database;";

in the concept "information array" of the word "the dactyloscopic information containing" shall be replaced with words "the dactyloscopic data containing".

3. To state the prolog of Article 7 in the following edition:

"The dactyloscopic data obtained as a result of carrying out dactyloscopic registration are used for:".

4. Item 3) parts (Article 10 to state 1) in the following edition:

"3) persons managing vehicles except persons who refused the state identification number and the automated accounting of personal data;".

5. Part (Article 11 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) Voluntary dactyloscopic registration is carried out according to the application submitted to one of specialized divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.".

6. In Article 12:

in part (the words "in case of receipt of the car driver license." shall be replaced with words 2) "in case of issue of the car driver license, except persons who refused the state identification number and the automated accounting of personal data.";
