About some measures for veterinary and sanitary certification when importing the products intended for feeding of animals

For the purpose of protection and ensuring welfare of animals by observance of the established requirements to the products intended for feeding of animals, and also reduction of the national legal system in compliance with the European legislation based on article 36 of the Law No. 221-XVI of October 19, 2007 on veterinary and sanitary activities (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, Art. No. 51-54, 153), with subsequent changes, and provisions of Decisions of the Commission No. 98/68/SE of September 10, 1998 by determination of the standard document provided by part (1) Article 9 of the Decision No. 95/53/SE of Council for setting standards of control in case of delivery in Community from the third countries of the products intended for feeding of animals (JO, 1998, L 261, DECIDES: p. 32-38), the Government

1. To the national agency on safety of foodstuff, the subordinated Government:

1) to develop technical requirements for the form of the veterinary sanitary certificate on import of the products intended for feeding of animals according to the provisions given in appendix to this Resolution;

2) to certify any change or elimination made in the veterinary sanitary certificate, otherwise it will be considered as invalid;

To issue 3) to the interested person on customs clearance station in case of entry into the country the veterinary sanitary certificate for import of the products intended for feeding of animals:

a) having set thus customs regime on the products imported from the countries, the performing these products, concerning their type, origin and geographical appointment and, if necessary, to carry out physical control, having specified in the veterinary sanitary certificate type performed and its results;
