About the Program of measures for further development of the textile and sewing and knitted industry for 2017-2019
For the purpose of ensuring further structural transformations in economy, upgrade, diversification and dynamic development of the textile and sewing and knitted industry, expansion of amounts and the range of production of the competitive, demanded in the foreign markets finished export-oriented goods by deep conversion of cotton fiber and silk raw materials, broad attraction of foreign investments:
1. Establish task on production of the finished textile and sewing and knitted goods demanded in the foreign markets with high value added based on profound conversion of cotton fiber and silk raw materials for 2017 - 2019 according to appendix No. 1*.
Assign to heads of Uztekstilprom Association, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent, other joint-stock companies and companies - executives in charge the personal responsibility for providing high-quality and in full accomplishment at the scheduled time of tasks on production of the finished textile and sewing and knitted goods demanded in the foreign markets with high value added based on the profound conversion of cotton fiber and silk raw materials provided in appendix No. 1.
2. Approve the list of investment projects on production of finished export-oriented textile and sewing and knitted goods with high value added based on profound conversion of cotton fiber and silk raw materials for 2016 - 2019 according to appendix No. 2*.
Take into consideration that all investment projects included in the list are prepared by JSC Uzbekengilsanoat together with Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent taking into account specific determination of potential investors, production sites and sources of financing of projects.
