About modification of the Law of Ukraine "About power industry" concerning coefficients of "green" rate for the electric power made with use of alternative energy sources

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Article 17-1 - The law of Ukraine "About power industry" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 1, to Art. 1 with subsequent changes) to state in the following edition:

"Article 17-1. PRODUCTION INCENTIVE of the ELECTRIC POWER FROM ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES

The "green" rate is established by the national commission performing state regulation in the field of power and utilities, on the electrical energy made on power generation facilities, including on the queues of construction of power plants put into operation (start-up complexes) from alternative energy sources (except the domain and coked gases, and with hydraulic power use - made only by micro, mini-and small hydroelectric power stations).

The "green" rate is established for each subject of managing which makes electrical energy from alternative energy sources, by each type of alternative energy and for each power generation facility (or for each queue of construction of power plant (start-up complex).

The "green" rate for the electrical energy made by the generating installations of private households is established single for each type of alternative energy source.

The "green" rate for subjects of managing which make electrical energy from wind energy is established at the level of retail rate for consumers of second class of tension for January, 2009 increased by coefficient of "green" rate for the electric power made from wind energy.
