About modification and amendments in some legal acts

Art. I. – In the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024-XIV of June 2, 2000 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 98-101, 709), with subsequent changes and amendments, to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Article 17:

part (to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) Citizenship of the Republic of Moldova can be granted based on the statement to the foreigner or the stateless person, legally and constantly living in the territory of the Republic of Moldova which knows and observes Constitution provisions, passed the test for determination of level of proficiency in state language and has legal sources of the income, in case of observance of one of the following conditions:

a) lives in the territory of the Republic of Moldova within at least 10 last years. For stateless persons, refugees and persons using humanitarian protection and political asylum, the corresponding term constitutes 8 years;

b) lives in the territory of the Republic of Moldova within 5 years until achievement of age of 18 years by it;

c) is married to the citizen of the Republic of Moldova within at least 3 years and for the last 3 years continuously lives in the territory of the Republic of Moldova;

d) within the last 3 years lives in the territory of the Republic of Moldova at parents (including adoptive parents) or at the children (including adopted) who are citizens of the Republic of Moldova.";

add Article with parts (1-1), (1-2), (3-1), (4-1), (6) and (7) the following content:
