"About the sizes of grants, other types of the public assistance to students of higher educational institutions, to pupils of average special and average professional educational institutions and persons who study in system of post-university education" (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2006, Art. The sizes of educational grants for students of higher educational institutions (the I cycle, the II cycle, the integrated programs, medical and pharmaceutical education), pupils of organizations of postsecondary and postsecondary not tertiary vocational training, average vocational training, to persons who study in system of post-university education

1. Assignments for grants of the I category shall not exceed 10 percent, and on grant of II and III categories – respectively 20 and 70 percent of the budgetary funds provided for this purpose.

2. The size of educational grant for students of pedagogical, agricultural and medical profile (the I cycle, the integrated programs, medical and pharmaceutical education and pupils of postsecondary and postsecondary not tertiary vocational training) increases by 20 percent in comparison with the size of the grant provided in this appendix.

The size of educational grant for senior class for students (the I cycle, the integrated programs, medical and pharmaceutical education and pupils of postsecondary and postsecondary not tertiary vocational training) increases in comparison with the size of the grant provided in this appendix:

- for specialties of pedagogical, agricultural and medical profiles for 40 percent;

- for other profiles for 20 percent.

3. Organizations of the higher and average vocational training of grant are appointed to half-year by results of examinations and are paid monthly within the means provided for this purpose.

For students/pupils of the first year of training in the first semester of grant are established in the amount of, provided by this resolution, according to average competitive point.

4. The quantity of social grants makes 10 percent from total number of students of the I cycle, the integrated programs, medical and pharmaceutical education and pupils of postsecondary and postsecondary not tertiary vocational training, except for foreign scholars. The social grant is appointed to persons which handed over examinations.

Notes:

1. Assignments for grants by the pupil in system of average vocational training are awarded, on categories, agrees to following:

2. Organizations of average vocational training of grant are appointed to half-year, by results of examinations, and it is paid monthly.

1. For doctors who before receipt in clinical internship, held position of the doctor to 1,0 of rate or more the monthly grant is established at the level of tariff salary from calculation of 1,0 of rate of the doctor.

2. For doctors who before receipt in clinical internship worked in private medical institutions the monthly grant is established at the rate of the minimum tariff salary of 1,0 of rate of the doctor working in the public medical sector.

During summer vacation pupils of secondary vocational and secondary professional education, students of the higher education (the I cycle, the II cycle, the integrated programs, medical and pharmaceutical education) do not get grant.".
