About the export customs duties on crude oil and the goods developed from oil

For the purpose of stabilization of the domestic market of crude oil and oil products the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Rules of calculation of rates of export customs duties on the goods developed from oil.

2. To the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan monthly, to the 5th, following month under report to represent to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan information following the results of monitoring of the prices in the world markets of oil raw materials (further - monitoring of the prices).

3. Establish rates of export customs duties on crude oil and the goods developed from oil according to appendix to this resolution.

3-1. The rates of export customs duties on crude oil established by this resolution are not applied in the relation:

1) export by subsoil users of the crude oil extracted by them under the agreements (contracts) on the Section of products signed with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan or competent authority till January 1, 2009 and which passed the obligatory tax examination in which exemption of export customs duties on crude oil is provided;

2) export by subsoil users of the crude oil extracted by them under the contracts for subsurface use in which exemption of export customs duties on crude oil is provided which are not agreements (contracts) on the Section of products, except for the crude oil which is exported by the subsoil users performing payment of royalty.
