1. The purpose of this Law is ensuring insurance protection and improvement of conditions of compulsory insurance of passengers.
2. The legislation on compulsory insurance of passengers consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued according to it.
Passengers of air, rail, inland water and road transport who are subject to compulsory insurance from accidents for the period of trip (flight) or stay in the airport, at the station, the station, pier are without fail insured.
Compulsory insurance does not extend to passengers:
rail, inland water and road transport of the suburban message;
road transport on city routes;
road transport within one area, the Republic of Karakalpakstan at distance to 50 kilometers.
