About patenting of some types of business activity

This Law determines procedure for patenting of trading activity for cash of means, and also with use of other forms of calculations and credit cards, activities in the field of foreign exchange trade, activities for provision of services in the field of playing business and household services which are performed by subjects of business activity.

Article 1. General provisions

1. Object of legal regulation according to this Law is the trading activity for cash of means, and also with use of other forms of calculations and credit cards in the territory of Ukraine, activities for exchange of cash currency values (including transactions with the cash means of payment expressed in foreign currency and with credit cards), and also activities for provision of services in the field of playing business and household services.

2. The subjects of legal relationship which are subject to regulation according to this Law are the legal entities and subjects of business activity which do not have the status of the legal entity - residents and nonresidents, and also their separate divisions (branches, departments, representations, etc.) which are engaged in the business activity provided by part one of this Article.

3. Operation of this Law does not extend to trading activity and activities for provision of household services:

1) the companies and the organizations of military trade, drugstores which are in the state-owned and utility property, and also located in villages, settlements and the cities of district value of the companies and organizations of consumer cooperation and the trade and production state companies of working supply;

2) subjects of business activity - physical persons, which:

perform trading activity from trays, counters and pay market collection (payment) for the place for trade in products within the markets of all patterns of ownership;

pay tax on trade according to the procedure, provided by the current legislation;
