About entering of amendment into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 with Article 310.1 of the following content:
"Article 310.1. Illegal enrichment
1. Illegal enrichment – increase for the accounting period of property and (or) reduction of obligations of person having the obligation on representation of the Republic of Armenia established by the Law "About public service" declarations which significantly exceed its legal income and are not proved by them and if there are no other essential elements of offense which are the basis for illegal enrichment
attracts imprisonment for a period of three up to six years with confiscation of property or without confiscation with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or to be engaged in certain activities for the term of not over three years with confiscation of property.
2. In this Article the amount (cost) exceeding five thousandfold size of the minimum wage established at the time of crime execution is considered essential.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective since July 1, 2017.
