About measures for further enhancement of activities of Academy of Sciences, organization, management and financing of research activities

For the purpose of further strengthening of role of the academic science in innovative development of economy, increase in prestige and enhancement of activities of Academy of Sciences, forming of single system of management and regulation of research and innovative activities, and also increase in role of science in social and economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

1. Determine the main objectives and activities of Academy of Sciences:

carrying out basic, applied and innovative scientific research in the field of natural, technical and the public humanities;

strengthening and development of mechanisms of integration of science with education and production;

development of offers on forming of the priority directions of development of science and technologies, the state scientific and technical programs taking into account requirements of industries of economy and regions of the republic;

studying and the analysis of achievements of world and domestic science, development of recommendations about their use for the benefit of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

promoting and promotion of domestic science, scientific knowledge, achievements of science and technology;

implementation of international cooperation with academies of Sciences, research organizations and funds of foreign countries, participation in the organization and holding the international scientific forums and conferences;

participation in training of highly qualified personnel with use of scientific potential and material and technical resources of organizations of Academy of Sciences;
