About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About frontier"

Article 1. In article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About frontier" (on November 20, 2001, ZR-265, further – the Law) "zone" to replace the word with the word to "strip", and words", implementation of economic and other activity by them" shall be replaced with words "and implementation of other activities by them".

Article 2. To state article 22 of the Law in the following edition:

"Article 22. Entrance to borderland

The entry visa in borderland, stay temporary there is issued by Border troops in coordination with the state authorized bodies in spheres of Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Homeland security of the Republic of Armenia. If necessary command of Border troops can introduce additional temporary regime restrictions on entrance to borderland and stay temporary there.

In case of introduction of temporary regime restrictions, when informing local government bodies, entrance of persons, vehicles, movement of pets, loads and other property, other activities in borderland is limited or forbidden.

Temporary regime restrictions do not extend to works of defense value, operational works, works on liquidation of natural disasters and epidemics.".

Article 3. Add the law with Article 22-1 of the following content:

"Article 22-1. The restrictions extended to persons who arrived to borderland

It is forbidden to persons which arrived to borderland:

a) take alcoholic beverages;

b) take with itself weapon (except for the persons who are fulfilling service duties in this territory and having the right to carrying weapon in the procedure established by the legislation), including cold weapon, fishing accessories, alcoholic drinks;

c) approach directly ambit;

d) communicate with staff of border duties;
