About the Basic principles of participation of neutral Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States

respecting the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan recognized and supported by the United Nations
in view of the international obligations of Turkmenistan as neutral state,
solved:
1. Take into consideration the Basic principles of participation of neutral Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States (are applied).
2. According to the offer of Turkmenistan on participation of Turkmenistan as the associated member in the Commonwealth of Independent States taking into account its neutral status to charge to Executive committee of the CIS to prepare together with Turkmenistan the draft agreement on participation of Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States as the associated member and to submit it in accordance with the established procedure for consideration of Council of heads of states of the CIS.
It is made in the city of Kazan on August 26, 2005 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in Executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed this Decision, its verified copy.
