About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning acquisition of powers of rural, settlement, city chairmen

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1) in the Law of Ukraine "About local self-government in Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1997, No. 24, Art. 170; 2007, No. 25, Art. 340; 2009, No. 19, Art. 260):

the first offer of part one of Article 42 to state in the following edition:

"1. Powers of the newly elected rural, settlement, city chairman begin with the moment of bringing of the oath by it according to the Law of Ukraine "About service in local government bodies" at the plenary session of the relevant village, settlement, city council at which the relevant territorial election commission announced decisions concerning its election and registration";

in the first offer of paragraph two of part two of Article 46 of the word "is chosen" shall be replaced with words "it is not registered according to the law on local elections";

2) in Item 6 parts one of article 24 of the Law of Ukraine "About local elections" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2015, Art. No. 37-38, 366) of the word "results of the corresponding local elections establishes results of such local elections" shall be replaced with words "results of the corresponding local elections and/or registration of the elected deputies, rural, settlement, city chairmen, heads establishes results of such local elections and/or makes the decision on registration of the corresponding persons".

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
