About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About advertizing"

Article 1. "About advertizing" of April 30, 1996 (further – the Law) to remove with ZR-55 the second offer from the ninth paragraph of part 1 of article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia.

Article 2. In article 9 of the Law:

Part 2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"2. Broadcasting of advertizing is forbidden during the radio-telecast lasting more than 14 minutes by calculation on each 1 radio hour";

Part 2 to add 2) with the new offer of the following content: "To begin calculation of broadcasting time every day from 00:00 o'clock.";

To add 3) with part 3.1 following of content:

"3.1. Broadcasting of advertizing by TV channel of spiritual and cultural orientation of the broadcasting companies broadcasting other channels, and TV channel of Public broadcasting company, except for the advertizing which entered in foreign TV, the broadcasts broadcast by other channel is forbidden.";

To add 4) with part 6 of the following content:

"6. Sponsorship TV, broadcasts, combination of advertizing with telecasts in the form of "running line", TV shops, and also broadcasting of any kind of information on sponsors of this telecast prior and (or) subsequent to the announcement of the telecast, are considered as the advertizing broadcast on electronic mass media.".

Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
