About entering of amendments and changes into the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About advertizing"

Article 1. Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia ZR-55 "About advertizing" of April 30, 1996 (further – the Law) the new paragraph of the following content:

"social advertizing – not bearing commercial nature (not pursuing the profit earning aims) information distributed for the purpose of protection of the rights and obligations of the person, preserving health of the population, and also for the purpose of notification of the public about healthy lifestyle and social protection, voluntariness, protection of the nature, educational programs, patriotic education, preserving, distribution and cultural development, opposition to disasters, protection of national interests and about other spheres which in the procedure specified in Item 1.2 of article 13 of this Law was recognized as social advertizing.".

Article 2. In article 13 of the Law:

Item 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The advertizing carrier extending advertizing on electronic and printing mass media shall provide for social advertizing at least, than 5 percent from annual broadcasting time (printing amount) provided for advertizing.";

To add 2) with Items 1. 1, 1.2, and 1.3 following of content:

"1.1. In case of placement of social advertizing in the territory of municipality or on roads of interstate or republican value, rate of local duties and road payments are established by the law.
