About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About highways" concerning highways of defense value

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. "About highways" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2005, No. 51, of Art. 556 with subsequent changes) to add the law of Ukraine with Article of 51 following contents:

"Article 5-1. HIGHWAYS of DEFENSE VALUE

Highways of defense value are the highways necessary for ensuring defense and safety of Ukraine, connection of military and other special facilities which are intended in the conditions of warlike situation for military transportations, transportations connected with evacuation of the population, the transportations connected with evacuation of loads, economic transportations.

For the purpose of ensuring defense and safety of Ukraine highways irrespective of pattern of ownership and value can be carried to highways of defense value.

Reference of the highway to highways of defense value is not the basis for traffic restriction of vehicles on such highway, except cases of its use during action of warlike situation.

The procedure for use of the highway of defense value and its recovery, holding actions for its technical cover during action of warlike situation, and also the list of highways of defense value affirm the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a month from the date of entry into force of this Law:

provide adoption of the regulatory legal acts provided by this Law;

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
