About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning guarantees of labor rights of persons holding elective offices in local government bodies in connection with passing of military service by them

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. Article 119 of the Labor code of Ukraine (1971, Appendix to No. 50, by the station 375) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of USSR with part six of the following content:

"The guarantees determined in part three of this Article regarding preserving place of employment, position do not extend to persons holding elective offices in local government bodies and which term of office expired".

2. Part the second article 33 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of deputies of local councils" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2002, No. 40, Art. 290; 2007, 12, the Art. 110) to add No. with the paragraph the fourth the following content:

"If in day of the termination of powers the deputy of local council passed military service in connection with appeal on compulsory military service, military service on mobilization, for the special period or military service under the contract during action of the special period, the guarantees provided by this Article are provided after its demobilization".

II. Final provisions

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a month from the date of entry into force of this Law:

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries, other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
