About streamlining of activities of customs licensed warehouses

For the purpose of enhancement of work of customs licensed warehouses, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine DECIDES: increases in responsibility of their owners and strengthening of customs control over loads which move through such warehouses

1. Establish collection:

for issue by the State Customs Committee of licenses for the right of opening and operation of customs licensed warehouse in the territory of Ukraine in the amount of, equivalent in national currency to 2500 US dollars at the rate of National Bank, to this Committee established on the date of submission of documents;

for annual re-registration of customs licensed warehouses in the amount of, equivalent in national currency to 1500 US dollars at the rate of National Bank, to this Committee established on the date of submission of documents.

Charges for issue and re-registration of licenses for the right of opening and operation of customs warehouses are enlisted in the government budget.

2. To the State Customs Committee:

in a month to carry out re-registration of all customs licensed warehouses and to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for approval their list;

provide offers on creation of specialized customs warehouses;

develop and approve till January 1, 1997 new regulations on opening and operation of customs licensed warehouses taking into account results of complex check of activities of customs licensed warehouses.

3. To the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Economics, Fund of state-owned property together with other interested central executive bodies to provide to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the draft decision about transfer of warehouses to customs authorities which are state-owned property.
