About entering of amendments into some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Security act of traffic No. 131/2007 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2015, Art. No. 11-27, 6), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following additions:

1. To add article 2 after the concept "motorcycle" with the concept "odometer" of the following content:

"the odometer – the device which is built in in the vehicle for measurement of the distance passed from the moment of input of the vehicle in operation to its exception of the address;".

2. Part (Article 33 to add 1) with Item f) the following content:

"f) not distort and/or not allow misstatements of data of the odometer.".

Art. II. – The code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (2009, Art. No. 3-6, 15), with subsequent changes and amendments, to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with Article 228-1 of the following content:

"Article 228-1. Misstatement of data of the odometer

Misstatement of data of the odometer of the vehicle of any kind

attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 60 to 90 conventional units and on legal entities in the amount of 90 to 150 conventional units.".

Art. III. – (1) This law becomes effective after two months from the date of its publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

(2) to the Government in two-month time from the date of publication of this law to bring the regulations into accord with it.
