Agreement on development of trade and economic cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and Government of the Republic Georgia

Government of Ukraine and Government of the Republic Georgia (daleestorona),

considering features of stages of economic reforms in each state;

aiming at integration of economies of the Parties in the world economic relations;

in view of process of liberalization of economy which happens;

realizing special value of deepening of the established traditional trade and economic relations;

being guided by the principles of equality, mutual advantage and interest;

based on the principles of international law agreed about it:

Article 1

The parties will take all necessary measures for ensuring development and expansion of trade and economic relations on the long-term stable and balanced basis and to strengthen economic cooperation within real opportunities and according to the current legislation of everyone from the Parties.

Article 2

For the purpose of providing mutually advantageous conditions of economic cooperation, the Party will provide each other the mode of the greatest assistance.

Article 3

The parties agreed to perform at the level of the Governments regulation of deliveries of the major types of products and goods according to the approved list.

Authorized state bodies of the Parties till October 1 every year approve and sign "amounts of mutual deliveries of products and goods the next year" that will be integral part of this Agreement.

The nomenclature and supply rates of products and goods can be changed or added by mutual consent of the Parties.

Article 4

The parties create favorable conditions to economic subjects in preserving and development of mutual deliveries of products and goods, cooperation, specialization in production of goods, creation of joint businesses and other forms of cooperation taken in world practice.
