aiming at development and consolidation of the friendly relations between two people according to provisions of the Treaty of friendship, neighborliness and cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus of July 17, 1995,

sure is that the cooperation in the field of the prevention of emergency situations and liquidation of their effects is important for increase in welfare and safety of citizens of the states of the Parties

being guided by need of ensuring protection of citizens of the states of the Parties,

in view of possibility of emergency situations which effects cannot be liquidated by forces and means of the state of one of the Parties,

considering possibility of cross-border influence of emergency situations which need implementation of coordinated actions of the states of the Parties,

noting role of the United Nations, other international organizations in the field of the prevention of emergency situations and liquidation of their effects,

agreed about it:

Article 1 of Determination

In this Agreement such basic concepts are used:

The party requesting - the Party which appeals to other Party about the direction of groups on assistance, equipment and materials of providing;

The party providing - the Party which grants request of other Party for the direction of groups on assistance, equipment and materials of providing;

group on assistance - organized group of specialists of the Party which provides (including the military personnel of troops of civil defense), intended for assistance and provided with the necessary equipment;
