About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning increase in level of social protection of the military personnel and members of their families

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, Art. 190; 2013, No. 25, Art. 246; 2017, No. 2, Art. 25):

The text of Article 16-2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. The lump-sum allowance is granted and paid in the amount of:

a) 750-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year - in case of death (death) of the serviceman, the person liable for call-up or the reservist in the cases specified in the subitem 1 of Item 2 of article 16 of this Law;

500-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year - in case of death (death) of the serviceman, the person liable for call-up or the reservist in the cases specified in subitems 2 - 3 Items 2 of article 16 of this Law;

b) 400-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year - in case of establishment to the serviceman of disability of the I group, 300-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year - in case of establishment to the serviceman of disability of the II group, 250-fold subsistence minimum established by the law for able-bodied persons for January 1 of calendar year - in case of establishment to the serviceman of disability of III group (the subitem 4 of Item 2 of article 16 of this Law).
