The State Customs Committee of Ukraine and Customs committee of the Republic Georgia which hereinafter are referred to as further as the Parties,
in view of role of customs authorities in the termination of the illegal address of drugs and psychotropic substances,
aiming to develop mutual cooperation in this area,
agreed about underwritten:
The parties, on condition of the compliance with laws and rules existing in their states within this Agreement will cooperate in industry of prevention, termination and investigation of the illegal address of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The parties will exchange:
- information on means of fight against the illegal address of drugs;
- experience of use of technical means;
- specialists for the purpose of training in means of fight against the illegal address of drugs;
- scientific publications and education guidances concerning fight against the illegal address of drugs;
- information on new types and production sites of drugs, routes of their illegal transportation and methods of their concealment;
- information in the field of identification and the laboratory analysis of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The parties communicate:
- persons who are suspected or are known of them that they are engaged in the illegal address of drugs and psychotropic substances;
- about vehicles, loads and mailings which are used in the illegal appeal of drugs and psychotropic substances which are sent by en route through the territory of one of two Parties to others.
The parties within the competence and technical capabilities will perform observation for:
- entrance and departure of persons which are suspected of participation in the illegal address of drugs and psychotropic substances;
