About modification of some legal acts in the field of regulation of lottery activities

Article 1. Bring in part II of the Civil code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 6, the Art. 226) the following change:

"Article 992. Carrying out lotteries by the state
1. The relations between the state, the faces which got permission (license) for carrying out lotteries from authorized state body and participants of lotteries are regulated by the contract between the organizer and the participant of lottery. Such agreement is drawn up by issue of the lottery ticket, receipt or other document and is recognized the participant of cost of the lottery ticket imprisoned from the moment of payment.
2. The offer on the conclusion of the agreement, stipulated in Item 1 this Article, shall include conditions about the term of carrying out lottery, procedure for determination of prize and its size.
3. By the organizer of lottery the prize in the size provided by conditions of carrying out lottery, form (cash or in nature) and term shall be paid to persons who in accordance with the terms of carrying out lottery are recognized won and if term in these conditions was not specified - no later than ten days from the moment of determination of results of lottery.
4. In case of non-execution by the organizer of lottery the participant who won in the lottery having the right to demand from the organizer of lottery of payment of prize, and also the indemnification caused by agreement breach from the organizer specified in Item 3 of this Article of obligation.".
Article 2. Bring in the Criminal code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 7, the Art. 229) the following changes:
