State Customs Committee of Ukraine and Customs committee of the Republic Georgia, further "the Contractual Parties",

aiming at providing customs clearance of all transit cargoes,

agreed about it:

Article 1

Concerning this Agreement the following terms have such understanding:

a) "loads" - the goods and other objects of business entities acquired in the territory of one of the Contractual Parties or in the territory of the third state;

b) "baggage of citizens" - hand luggage, baggage, not attendant the baggage and vehicles of citizens acquired in the territory of one of the Contractual Parties or in the territory of the third state;

c) "the third states" - the states which are not the parties of this Agreement.

Article 2

Loads which are imported from the third states into Ukraine or are taken out from Ukraine to the third states by en route through the Republic Georgia territory, are subject to customs clearance in Ukraine.

Article 3

Loads which are imported from the third states into Ukraine or are taken out from Ukraine to the third states by en route through the territory of Ukraine are subject to customs clearance in the Republic Georgia.

Article 4

Transit cargoes are exempted from customs examination, except as specified, when the weight of evidence suggests that such loads contain the goods prohibited for import, export and transit according to the legislation of the Contractual Parties.

Article 5

The contractual Parties mutually exchange the inventory which are prohibited for import, export and transit through their territories.

Article 6

The contractual Parties recognize stamps and customs providing each other and exchange their samples.
