The government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic Georgia that "Parties" hereinafter are referred to as further,

confirming the inalienable right of property to rail transport within the national borders;

considering for reasonable preserving technological unity of railway transportation network,

recognizing extreme importance of transportations of passengers and loads both between their countries, and to the third countries,

providing value of coordination and joint activities of rail transport of the states,

agreed about it:

Article 1

Functional activities of rail transport of Ukraine and the Republic Georgia, and also production and content of railway vehicles, technical means, safety of movement and working conditions, the organization of transportations, storage of loads, interaction of rail transport with use of its services with other modes of transport are performed according to the single approved standard rates and regulating documents.

Article 2

The parties perform the coordinated tariff policy. Rates in the interstate message are established by special agreements.

Under the organization of transportations of passengers and loads by rail from the Republic Georgia en route through the territory of Ukraine and from Ukraine en route through the Republic Georgia territory, and also en route from the third countries to the third countries of the Party coordinate the actions in case of development, taking into account the legislation of the states, tariff policy for the purpose of attraction of additional transit cargo flows on these directions with registration, in necessary cases, the relevant agreements.

The parties perform debt repayment which arose in course of carriage, for benefit of one of the Parties, not later than 30 days after the termination of the next quarter by transfer through the relevant organizations of banks of the amounts approved by administrations of rail transport.
