The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on provisions of the Agreement on general terms and the mechanism of support of development of production cooperation of the companies and industries of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 23, 1993 and the Agreement on the free trade area of October 18, 2011,

developing provisions of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of the industry and creation of Council for industrial policy of the State Parties of the CIS of May 30, 2012,

aiming to provide favorable conditions for development and mutually beneficial cooperation of the companies of automotive industry of the State Parties of the CIS,

in view of need of enterprise integration of automotive industry of the State Parties of the CIS in world economy and the international system of trade,

being guided by the international obligations and the legislation of the State Parties of this agreement,

agreed as follows:

Article 1. Determinations

The concepts used in this agreement mean the following:

automotive industry (automotive industry) – the industry performing production of cars and automobile components;

the car – the trackless vehicle on wheel to the course, set in motion by own engine;

automobile / (car) components – set of the components and materials used in case of production of cars, and also in use cars (spare parts);

cooperation – form of long and stable relations between hozyaystvenno independent industries or business entities of the State Parties of this agreement occupied with joint production of certain products on the basis of specialization of their production.
